Retail Sales Associate – Kingston Upon Thames

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate (Brand Specialist) to join our Kingston store. In this role, you will serve as a brand ambassador, providing personalized and insightful advice to customers, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience that reflects our brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a brand ambassador to achieve store sales and conversion targets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer experiences the TEMPUR journey.
  • Provide exceptional one-on-one customer service, prioritizing customer needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of TEMPUR products, continuously enhancing your understanding of their benefits and uses.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and advertisements.
  • Support the Store Management team in achieving individual and store sales targets.
  • Execute daily operational goals and priorities as assigned by store management.
  • Address customer concerns patiently and effectively, communicating issues to Store Management when necessary.
  • Maintain product merchandising, monitor shop floor inventory, and replenish products as needed.
  • Assist with deliveries and organize the stock room, promoting teamwork.
  • Operate cash registers, process orders through a computerized system both in-person and over the phone, and manage daily revenue closure.
  • Ensure the store and back office/kitchen areas are clean and orderly.
  • Be responsive to and communicate any Health & Safety issues.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing realistic and achievable ideas.

  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to balance a customer-oriented approach with a results-driven mindset to exceed sales targets.

  • Professional demeanor with an outgoing, friendly, and engaging personality.
  • Team player capable of maintaining positive relationships with co-workers.

  • Maintain a smart and presentable appearance at all times.
