Field Sales Executive – Van Business Development


Dawsongroup plc is a leading provider of commercial vehicle rental solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Field Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of our van business.

Role Overview: As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with a diverse range of customers, including some of the most recognized brands. Your primary focus will be to identify new business opportunities, manage accounts to achieve growth, and ensure customer satisfaction within the Heathrow area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

    • Identify new business opportunities through referrals and prospecting activities.
    • Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential customers who do not yet use Dawsongroup.
    • Promote the Dawsongroup brand, ensuring clients are aware of all Dawsongroup businesses.
  • Account Management:

    • Manage accounts to achieve growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain a high level of van utilization.
    • Identify and develop potential markets within the area.
    • Achieve sales revenue targets as set.

  • Outgoing personality with drive, thriving in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to spot sales opportunities.
  • High organizational skills and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to think on your feet, ask and answer questions with ease.
  • A "never stop learning" mentality, applying knowledge daily.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the ability to manage your own time.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to develop and maintain value-added customer relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
